In this case you can draw the walls inserting the maximum height. Then click on elevation view to select and to visualize one of the two walls that will be cut by the polygon you would like to insert. It will reproduce a “pitched roof”. Click on Elements library<\/strong>> Common accessories> Coverings >Triangle for attic Rh or Lh according to the roof pitch (fig. 1 and fig. 3). <\/p> (fig.1)<\/p> Once the triangle has been inserted the window “Options for Attic<\/strong>” appears (fig.2). Here you can set 4 values regarding the maximum and minimum height as well as width and depth of the “pitched roof” (triangle polygon).<\/p> (fig.2)<\/p> When you click on one of the 4 fields on the left you will be showed where each measure will be applied through red label (H1. H2. P. L.) in the drawing on the right. This is useful to make measures insertion easier. After clicking on OK to confirm the insertion you can recall and modify the measurements with a click on the command “Element Macro<\/strong>” (fig.3)<\/p> If there are elements to be cut for adapting to the roof pitch (fig.4) you have to select both the element to be cut and the triangle for attic. Then click on “Options” at the left top of the screen and then on the drop-down menu on the command “Element cut”.<\/p> (fig.4)<\/p> 2) CWITH ATTIC ROOF<\/p> Alternatively, it is possible to insert a pitched roof to which you can also match beams and dormers. In this case you must set the maximum height for one wall (2700 mm), and the minimum height for the other 3 ones (1000 mm). If you don’t like to draw walls again open “Wall Management”, click on “Select walls” (fig.5)<\/p> Then select the elevation view of one of the 2 walls from which you can see the roof pitch. Open the “Element library” and select the folder Common accessories > Architectural elements > Coverings. In the end select “Roof pitch Rh” or “Roof pitch Lh” (fig. 6).<\/p> (fig.6)<\/p> The measurements you have to set when you insert the element are the same as those inserted for the triangle for attic (fig. 2). Once you have inserted it and positioned it properly in the plan view using “Scale Element” and adapting it to the depth of the room, you can use the triangle openings that are contained in the folder coverings to fill in the empty space between the roof and the wall (fig. 7).
