Generally used to create not to complex objects like false ceilings, masonry elements, shelves, small bookcases etc. Once the command is activated, click on the first point of the polygon you would like to create and then on the following points that make up its vertices (fig. 2-4). If the lines of the polygon are orthogonal to each other activate the command <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/900.jpg\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\"> that you can find on the toolbar.  <br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/2.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 2)<\/small><br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/3.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 3)<\/small><br><br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/4.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 4)<\/small><br><br><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the creation phase it is possible to type the measurement of the single line directly from the keyboard (fig. 5-6) or delete the last point clicked with the right mouse button. Especially in the case of curved lines, it can be useful to insert a curved reference element to &lsquo;trace&rsquo; for the creation of the polygon. In this case press the F2 key to transform the vertices of the element used as reference into snap points easily clickable with the mouse.  <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/5.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 5)<\/small><br><br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/6.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 6)<\/small><br><br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/7.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 7)<\/small><br><br><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After creating the penultimate side of the polygon (fig. 7) press Enter on the keyboard to create the last closing side (fig. 8).<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/8.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 8)<\/small><br><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now you need to indicate the direction and extension of any texture that will be applied on the object. To do it, click on a point (fig. 9), always with the Orthogonal command <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/900.jpg\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\"> activated, move the mouse in horizontal or vertical direction and then click on a second point to close the line (fig. 10). <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/9.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 9)<\/small><br><br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arredocad.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/storage\/app\/media\/blog\/tecnico-risponde\/2025\/giu\/10.jpg\" alt=\"ArredoCAD command to create 3D objects\"><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><small>(fig. 10)<\/small><br><br><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The thickness of the solid must be indicated in the next window in millimetres.
